(A short story to announce my movement to my old Newgrounds account, I have a flood of art needing to be re-posted)

I looked across the hall and saw my younger self. I was 10 at the time. The fateful year of 2013 when this account was registered. The time machine worked just like they said, you could go back to the past and talk to your younger self without consequence. Oddly enough you could only do it at the moment you made a Newgrounds account. This was the moment to undo all the stupid mistakes I made. The missed opportunities and emotional outbursts. Even with the prospect of all this, I paused. I could see it off of the reflection of the monitor. That spark in his eye and the joy of finding all the wonders of the internet. The connections he would make with people online lasting into not only friendships but people who impacted his life as a whole. Was I going to sacrifice this just for a few past mistakes. The timeline would not be ruptured but that doesn't mean I wouldn't change as a person. It doesn't mean I would end up getting addicted to video games, or art, or telling stories. All of my creative intent could be squashed all by a simple act of telling myself to do better. There are loose ends that are not meant to be tied up, as they lead down a line to something better. Something more. This train of thought made me say the best words for my future as a whole. "Abort the mission, he needs to forge his destiny by himself."
